I have a 1970 d Jefferson nickel and on the bottom of the face if the coin, the letters "JS". What are they for and what di they indicate?? Thank you.

Those are the initials of the designer and they're on all nickels and it should be FS for Felix Schlag

the "FS" was added in 1966 .....
... & i am aware of the 1990D JN with a "NO DI"A. error....... but have not 'hand-held' one personally.
