1997 DDOR or error?

#1 Unread post by Rjhyers »

I need a second set of eyes and opinion. The front looks fine but the back lettering is awfully thick and I can't tell tis the rest damage. Is it normal for coins to look fine on one side and then opposite have issues, like this one? I have saved a couple coins that are similar over the past couple years. I have saved coins but just now really getting into to coin hunting and there is so much to learn and remember.
Thanks again,
Regina

I would call that PLD "Parking Lot Damage". Definitely damaged after production.
