Is it possible

I was just wondering if it's possible to find a repunch penny over an older date? Or on any coin since back in does days everything was man made an not no machine where been used it was all hand made.I was reading an article on ngc webpage where they mention that discovery where still being made till this days and that is well respected grading company so can anyone tell me if it is possible to make discovery of any kind on usa coins

I'm a little lost is all i can say . Sorry . Do you want to know if a date can be re-struck over an older date ?
If so, then no . All he dies are made the current year that the coins are being struck . Also, coins haven't made by hand ind hundreds of years .

Yes, but it only happen if somebody got a coin made with an earlier date into the hopper that feeds the coin press.

This has been done intentional in the past when they were revaluing currency in a few foreign countries. But never in USA. See my earlier post for an example. http://www.coinauctionshelp.com/forum/v ... 70&t=16325
