1960-D Small date?

#1 Unread post by claudewill1 »

Hello,
I have a coin which I am pretty sure is a 1960-D small date. However, even with my glasses on and using magnification I am having issues knowing 100%.
I will be adding photos I took of the coin.

Thank you,

Claude Will

It's a large date, the stem of the 6 should be shorter and the opening is more round on a small.

Note the line through the bottom of the 6 and the 0 on the small date touches the tail end of the 9's loop.

While not shown, on the large date a line through the bottom of the 6 & the 0 loops would NOT hit the "tail end" of the 9's loop.
