Cheerios penny

I have a Cheerios penny still in the original package. Is there any real value in them ?

Only if they grade high enough in a PCGS holder.

Was it just pennies that was placed in the cereal boxes? And what year was it? I thought I remember a post here that mentioned an error or variety sometimes found with the "Cheerio" coins. (WAM/CLAM?)

Yes I found it. Wide AM on some cheerios cents.

The Sacagawea Cheerios Dollar is worth the bucks but some Cheerios Cents have been found with Wide AM, but grades still going to be the main factor.
