You might want to watch a YouTube video on how to photograph coins

When a coin is damaged like this then you know it's not an error or variety, Also no misplaced mint marks are like this on Lincoln Cents, and it must be the same size and not jagged and almost "looking" like one.

Most small apertures on cell phones or tablets can't achieve the long focal ratios to provide the depth of field necessary to adequately grade a coin, no matter how many Megapixels they are.
A 20x loop can give the naked eye the necessary depth at the cost of short eye relief.
Combining the two like The Coin Geek does can give you a decent picture, but I bet he is using a pretty high end webcam to get his results

Re: 1934 wheat penny
Hey K, ummm well the proof is in the eating. Do you know how small the LIBERTY is on a Barber Half headband. This was taken with my Note 10 and a free microscope app. But if someone really wants get it on, they are now making desktop Scanning Electron Microscopes, this will no doubt help with finding the mint errors that coin owners see, but the professionals cannot.

Edit; I just went over 100 thanks, thanks everyone for your thanks, this will no no doubt knock a few more % points off of any future purchases at https://portsmouthcoinshop.com/, right Big D.
