The 1991 Mt. Rushmore commemorative silver dollar was the second of the commemoratives.
It's specifications in regard to weight, thickness, and diameter, as well as the now-customary silver content, were identical to the previous issues.
It was also issued in the form of a clad half dollar, and a gold $5.00 half eagle.
Because of the coins relatively high mintage (Comparatively speaking, of course), it does not realize much over bullion. The mintage of the uncirculated coins were a good deal lower than the proofs, but, as is often the case in commemoratives, the proof specimens are in greater demand, except among specialists, and those who desire a complete set of commemoratives.
Pictured Below is an ANACS certified proof specimen.
