Gold coin identification - help

#1 Unread post by stan26 »

Hi:

I inherited several gold coins and have a difficulty to identify the one attached here (pictures show both sides of one coin). Looks Persian but I could not find any listing of it.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Please provide diameter and weight, if possible.
Also need an expandable photo, if possible.

Looks like a 500 or 100 Kurush (Turkish coin,) fairly modern. (As in early 1900s)

Date is in Arabic on lower picture, but I cannot see it well.

It's a 100 kurush from Turkey and should weigh 7.2G and they sell at ebay for an average of $300 in this condition and more in higher grades.
