Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee silver medal

#1 Unread post by ATT2121 »

Hello Everyone! I recently purchased this off of EBay and I’m having trouble finding out anything other than basic information. It’s 26mm and made of sterling silver. A little larger than a quarter and has about $4.80 of Silver content. They were issued in gold, silver, and bronze and in varying sizes. Have any of you had any experience with these or know of a value? I’m in it for $20 so even if it’s just silver value than I’m not too disappointed lol

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated!

Great Britain, Queen Victoria (1837-1901), Diamond Jubilee 1897, Official Silver Medal by T. Brock and an EF on one site sold for $195 which is retail. $20 would be a good deal based one in this condition. https://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/ancien ... fault.aspx
