I am probably way off base here but do those Athenian Attica owl coins look fake?
https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?item=19 ... est&_sop=1
and this one strikes is a bit suspicious.

Thoughts?

Re: I came across a seller . what do you think?
Your first link pulls up 73 coins, many of which are not the owl coin, so I don't know what you are looking at.
The second coin looks to be artificially toned. Basically, the patina was stripped from it leaving a copper looking coin and then was coated with a chemical (sulfur mixture) to give it an even "blackish" look. There is still a smidgen of green malachite on the reverse where the sulfur couldn't get to the surface of the coin.

for starters
and the other coin( the black one) you are saying its genuine with just an artificial patina? does that degrade the value to most sellers?

A false patina should lower the price significantly.
Not sure what your concern is over the other two coins. Most likely just over-exposed photos.
