Need help IDing this coin

Is this Augustus? or Octavian( before he called himself that)
is it genuine or fake?

It is important when there are few details on the coin to know the weight, diameter and where you acquired the coin.
While this resembles an Augustus, I don't like his nose or hairline over the eye.

Here are a few right busts of Augustus:
The nose and hairline just don't match.

The nose is better, but the hairline still doesn't match.

mhonzell ,could it be predating Augustus ? back When he was called Octavian?

I think you have a possible with Octavian (especially Example 4), BUT your coin is not just rubbed down, it is severely damaged with a lot of metal pushed from left to right.

That said, I know the seller of this coin (lpgstock1) and have seen his stock of coins. Based on that, I'd give the coin a thumbs up as RIC 276.
