1715-CW 2 Skilling Denmark coin. Real or Contemporary?
Hello everyone,
I just need some opinions that help to ID this old Denmark coin. I do some research but still not sure this is real or from China.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

It looks real to me and the obverse looks like it was "silvered" at one time. What does it weigh?

Yes, the real one is silver Daniel (weight: 1.299g). I don't have the digital scale so I'm not sure about the weight for this coin. When I looked at a several sites and see a little different (both Obv & Rev).

Very interesting coin!
What may be causing the confusion is that there are three types of 2 Skilling from 1715.
When King Frederick III of Denmark died, the land known as Sønderjylland was split between his three sons. These sons warred against each other and eventually the land was owned by one of the sons (King Frederick IV) and Sønderjylland was renamed to Schleswig. A duchy co-ruled by his brother, Charles Frederick. Charles Frederick also co-ruled over Holstein (part of Germany) with a Swedish ruler. To make it even more confusing, parts of Norway were also under Danish rule.
As a result, there were three types skilling struck in 1715. Those of Denmark, Norway and Schleswig.
On the Denmark coin, the one in the OP, notice the 'O' in 'NOR' on the obverse, then look at the two top coins below: tilted, with very thin sides to the left and right. Some of the lower grades do show thickness in those areas, but thickness of 'O' does not seem to align with the ones shown below. Other than that, the wear on the reverse is throwing me off with the crisp lines of a well-struck coin. (See how both Denmark coins below are struck and wearing, especially reverse "above" DANSKE compared with OP.)

Thank you very much for the info mhonzell. Well, when look at the top two coins of your pictures, I still see a bit different here.
1. The first lion (if that the lion) is much higher.
2. The lines that parallel to the big 4 (I assume that) on the obverse seem missing something.

I am in no way calling this a fake or copy. I just want to point out what I see as "significant" differences:
1. Thinness of 'O' in 'NOR' is not present. (Red)
2. Lower loops are bigger in size. (Tan)
3. Scripted '4's are connected. (Yellow)
4. Jutting from middle 'X' is missing. (Green)
5. Size of upper loop is smaller. (Blue) I've also included the official monogram of Frederick IV. It is supposed to be two F's crossed, so the jutting bars are important. (Green) On the reverse:
1. All three lions are high. See the gap between back leg and bottom point in shield and the upper lion is intersecting the shield design at the top. (Red)
2. The W is too far from the dot separating II.SKILL. (Yellow)
3. The center of the 'C' is squared instead of oval. (Green)
