These pre WW-I German Military Stine's go along with my German coin collection.

Historical Beer Stine's from Germany. These Stine's are over 100yrs old and are German Military Stine's. The oldest I have are from 1881. The Stine's were given to the Enlisted men upon the end of their service. The Soldier's names were put on the Stine's to commemorate their service. The Train on the top of the Stine stands for Troop Transport and Bridge and Fortification building Battalion's.

The first Stine is Company 2 Kgl. Sachs Division, Battalion N22 Dated 1907-1909 with the Soldiers name Gefreiter Quester. From Bavaria Germany

Second Stine is Pioneer Battalion 3rd Company 1911-1913. Soldiers name is Pv. Simmerl from Bavaria Germany.

Third Stine is from a Bavarian Regiment dated 1878-1881 soldiers name is Berthold Schneider.

The last Stine is the King of Prussia's Battalion.

There are also German Navy, Cav. and Infantry Stine's from the 1870 to Pre-WWI. I will have to photograph some of the Cav. Stine's for you to see Dan.

There are re-makes of these famous Stine's that were made just after WW-II. You can tell a repro. by the made in Western Germany Stamp on the bottom of the Stine.

A few pics to some of the design on the Stine. They took much care to detail, as you can see the Stine's on the right in the last photo show coal burning Trains. The Stine's on the left show Steam Trains.
