1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

Re: Coins for a 'GRADING' Contest
I do not send NGC any more coins. They sent me back a 21 Morgan that the holder said "Peace Dollar."

Re: Coins for a 'GRADING' Contest
Fortunately, 97% of everyone selling/flipping coins has been so brainwashed by 'labels' & the 'graded coin con...w/ price guides', it's like heaven for me. They really don't even care what the 'lump of metal' inside, which they should be collecting, looks like. Just the 'label'. I would not care if the 'label' had, "FOUND BY ELVIS ON THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" on it. GOOFY I TELL YA, GOOFY.

Yea,
I've seen more stupiderer.
Have you ever seen a 1791 Washington Quarter?
Here is a 'textbook' reason why I do not even look at 'labels'.
This slab is BEAT, the wrong 'label', & why I picked this for $9.51
Coin is a Late Stage 'C' 69, & a SR-2-R-II-C

Re: Coins for a 'GRADING' Contest
I don't suppose an Error Slab increases the Value, does it ? :l :l
I have a brother in Law who ordered a Mint Set and in the little Booklet it comes with had the Coins listed in the wrong order. Once they caught the printing error it was fixed. He's trying to tell my that the Set is worth more because of the printing error. Is this true ?
I can see if they had the Dime and Penny or Nickel in the wrong spot, but a printing error ? He claims they were being sold at a premium for the error on Ebay . I know how Paul love Ebay and I thought I'd share this one for him.

Re: Coins for a 'GRADING' Contest
Is there a PRIZE ? I'll guess their Slab errors . The grades don't exist. Wrong Coins in slabs. Dates are wrong. Let's face it their F'd up . You said these were on Ebay ? Wow ! I would of gotten my money back and send them to PCGS . My Uncle use to say " Buy Cheap, Get Cheap", that sums it up.
