First welcome to the forum. Second, the coin looks authentic but why would you need it checked out? What are you seeing that makes it different.

Welcome to the forum. Even though the 69s has a low mintage there really isn't a premium to the coin unless it is really a high grade coin. Now that being said, if it is the 69 s double die, yes then you would want to take it to an expert. Closer pictures would help. Do you see something that makes you wonder about the coin?

It appears to be a normal 1969-S Lincoln Memorial Cent. I just don't know what your looking at that might make this coin different.

Hey jackpinkate what makes you think that it is a "collectible value". Am I missing something?
