Finds from the stone house
Cufflink, two rings,1900 and 1923 pennies, and a son in service ring
I like work; it fascinates me.
I can sit and look at it for hours.

Nice ring with the US and Star on it, looks Civil War or WWI era. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed the ring as well. That has to be old. At least WWI! Keep looking I'm sure there is more there. I spent an entire summer 40+ hours detecting a small yard of an old house I was still finding goodies in spots I had been over loads of times. Make sure to try again after a good rain and make sure to try detecting at different angles. North to south, east to west, northeast to southeast....any which way you can.
Re: Finds from the stone house
If you wondered about the price on the penny, I was trying to sell it to my sister. She didn't buy it, but she did get a polished 1943 steel cent in a 1x1 holder from me. For free of course.

Re: Finds from the stone house
The 1923 aren't really that rare and considering that you found it in the ground I would say it would make a nice gift to her. The indian head penny might sell on ebay for 25-30 cents, but you going to have more than that in just fees. Typically unless the coin is silver or really rare they aren't worth anything when you find them in the ground.LWH36 wrote:If you wondered about the price on the penny, I was trying to sell it to my sister.
