Well I got a chance to get to an older house in the neighborhood that I had permission to go to. It seemed like every time I wanted to go it was raining. Well here are my finds for my outing today. 1916, 1936, and 1944 wheat pennies, a 1970 play dime, and a piece of jewelry. The piece of jewelry I think is just a piece of costume jewelry it came up right at +40. The last picture is of a piece of a lantern that I found at a different older house a few weeks back. That lantern and a 1929 wheatie was all that I found at that particular house. Let me know what you guys think.
This is probably the most interesting part of this lantern. Stamped into the turn knob on the side it reads Sept. 19 (1865) M.H. Collins Patent.
