1897 Barber Quarter dig up in amazing shape!
Just got home and rinsed off my finds and I notice I found a beautiful 1897 Barber Quarter, approximately 1-1/2" down in dry sandy soil. I'm not sure if the soil lended a hand in keeping this lady preserved or if someone dropped part of their collection in a deserted area where the last structure was built at the turn of the century but, I'm happy either way! I wonder what it would grade?

Not much experience with Barb. quarters but I'm thinking Ef/AU details. Very nice, WTG!

Thanks guys that's what I was thinking after looking at the same thing on eBay and it's details look as good as AU compared to what's out there. I put it in my permanent collection for my kids so maybe it'll be worth something more when I'm gone.
