Came across what appears to be a nice example of an 1879cc Morgan but I wanted to get some others thoughts about it. I almost went for this but just couldnt get over the mint mark. To me, it looks too thick, eslecially at the top, when compared to every example I could find. On Vamworld and a couple other places. I just couldnt match that CC to my eyes anyways. Nothing else jumped out at me otherwise. If genuine though, presents as a serious $$ coin.
So does it look genuine to yall? Am I just wrong on the mint mark? Or does it all look good?
Appreciate any input. I was real close to pullin the trigger on it......

Keep in mind, it's almost impossible to verify a quality non-genuine coin from just images...... unless it's pretty bad.
Is this going to be of purchase for you?

100% fake, always use vamworld.com to ID coin die markers and reverse mint mark types, this coin will not match. Also there's no CC minted Morgans like this font in 1879.

And matching the mint mark style to those shown on Vamworld was exactly what I was doing, and exactly why I asked for a more experienced opinion as I could not verify the mint mark style I saw pictured. But now Im super confused because both of ya are saying there were no regular strike 1879 CC ( Carson City) Morgans?
