1970 D Washinton Quarter no clad coating.

Found this 1970 D quarter and thought I would share it, it doesn't appear to have the clad coating and the copper is showing through the top layer of what I believe is Nickel ? , I just thought it was a cool coin, not sure were it fits as a collectable, but I like it :) Your thoughts

Most likely a late environmental issue .. ?

Of course the weight is here is important .....
.... But this looks like a toned coin with environmental damage ....JMO

That is normal weight for a clad quarter.
