What coin(s) were you most happy to find this year?
Last year, Daniel asked this and there were some great coins out there. Just wanted to repeat the opportunity to share.
I walked away with three awesome error coins:

1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

Re: 2017 Finds
I have found a few but all were minor and I had an advantage since I go through a lot of coins. Here's a couple.
See if you can ID them.

Re: 2017 Finds
I just got my first submission back from James Wiles for Variety Vista last week. There were 3 new listings. Very pleased because it spans both ends of the Lincoln cent spectrum and the 1927 being the year my father was born.

(The images on VV are better than any I could include.)
In addition the St Patrick's Farthing post on CH LINK
I ended up purchasing this St. Patrick's Farthing from my friend. I received an email from Sydney Martin who is writing a book on these to be published this year.
He said " The coin is, in my attribution system, designated as variety 1c.4-Ba.5. Thanks, Syd Martin"
Edit: Update Jan. 2018 ( a tad delayed)- I will update the original thread as well with more info from the expert, Sydney Martin.
On close examination and analysis by expert and author Sydney Martin the St. Patrick's Farthing was determined to be a well made cast "copy" ca. 1960-1995 by Peter Rosa in the Bronx as Becker Manufacturing company. An alloy of 80% lead, 12% tin, and 8% antimony – similar to that used in the linotype printing process. The casting sprue is the slightly indented area at the top of the coin.
