Own a piece of metal which looks exactly as mentioned silver coin but has the weight only 26.6 g. Is it possible to be a genuine coin? Thank you

It could be a Trade Dollar and see if it sticks to a magnet. Otherwise I need an image to help you. Thanks and welcome to the forum!

Here are scans. It doesn't stick to magnet. The problem is in a little bit lower weight than standard. (26.73 g). Thank you

A small variation in weight is normal and is often found with coins since the mint has a tolerance and allowance for the specifications of coins they mint.
