i think i seen on here where someone said to look for a 1910 vdb ?
Daniel wrote:It's means Victor David Brenner, and is the designer of the Linoln Cent. In 1909 some cents had the V.D.B. on the reverse, bottom rim, but people thought it was too large and the mint removed the initials. In 1918 the initials vdb where included in the design again, but on the obverse, below the shoulder, and have been there every since.

Yes. I posted that, and I don't think I added it to the list. I think it should be called 1910 with 09' Reverse.

Update...the 1996 WAM has never been confirmed by anybody other than it's discoverer...it mysteriously disappeared before a second attributer could examine it. There are a few more tidbits but I'll leave that to the rumor mill

Was the VDB the only difference between the two? Or was there some other design features that can be used to differentiate between the two?
And Paul, are you saying the VDB was removed from the die or the coin on your example?
Thanks, Cliff

C, i need to go back & re-do this one, i've been so busy on my other project, i just have not had the time,.......

i'm gonna say it is one of the V.D.B. '09 reverses, with the '09 removed from the die,......but really need to "re-visit" it.

i do not like getting into too many things at once,.....it can really foul up the operation !!

I understand about getting too many irons in the fire. It is nice to get "in depth" projects complete before starting others.

Feel free to post images of your coin so we can help you. It is also beneficial to start your own topic so your post is not buried under several pages of an old topic.

Thanks for posting!

Welcome and you have done the same thing I did the first time as well as most people here. By posting to a reply to a thread after a Google search instead of starting your own thread.
Hope you feel comfortable enough to return and post some images of your coin. There are actually quite a few reasons the coin might be discolored but like the others said, images are needed.
Thanks for taking the time and look forward to the images. Both sides as well as a closeup if you can.

Presently here is an inquiry for you, when you get a cluster of coin to look how would you approach seeking them? I take a gander at every one except the however the ones one the rundowns closer. Is there a good and bad approach to seek coins if that bodes well as an inquiry?

Welcome JcCrespo.
I assume you are using a translation app because it is hard to understand your question.
Can you please start a new thread. You will probably get better responses.
Thanks.

I have a 1985 blue tinted error penny. I dont see it on the list. But it's on my other app. I'm sure it's not worth much, but how do I add it?
