The holder means nothing and it should be labeled Type I or Type II reverse, thin or bold letters. It's worth more than a dollar but not much more in this holder. It needs to grade MS65 and a Type I reverse to be worth something decent and MS66, or better, as a Type II reverse before it attains a decent value.

It depends on the grade and reverse type.

The holder is not by a recognized and accepted company and as Daniel said the holder adds NO value. It just protects the coin from damage... maybe!

This coin was packaged by someone to look official so they could sell it for more than a buck. Honestly, an Ike is only worth money in very high grade. Silver Ikes are worth little more than melt, unless they are double dies, then they jump quite a bit. If it is not in an NGC, PCGS or ANACS holder, people will not buy what it says on the label. My guess is that the people who encapsulated your coin used their own code to ID the coin. It looks like their name begins with a B. Sorry. Dan

Unfortunately all of these sources are what someone is trying to sell them for and not what they're selling for. I can buy a 40% silver clad Ike for less.

I bought Brown box (silver proof) Ikes for 10 bucks each at a flea market. They were a good deal, as I am looking for double dies, (1971) and the silver content itself will add to value when silver gets to its correct level. Those clad Ikes may be $15.. on EBay, but what a seller wants and the real value are two different things. Daniel is correct, his price is real world.
