Re: Hello hoping for some feedback on an early IHC

Ezetocoin I wish I could agree but I and the variety and mint error experts at CONECA and dealers all over the country has seen too many errors to accept they use such data or their graders and this good. They look at coins too fast, and get paid bonuses for how many coins that passes through their ...

High amounts of heat or electrical current or caustic chemicals, cause no one can be sure unless they were there when it happened.

These are not rare, the mintage was spread out among the different designs but millions were made of each design for this year.

Re: glitter in coin

You're seeing the normal appearance of the coin's surface, the dies will have striations as well as become rough from over-use, so when they strike a coin, they impart pin pricks of metal that reflect light in several directions. It is one way to determine the state and stage of the die's condition....

Re: Gold Coin Sets

Yes, and even less than spot, most world issues are low mintage but if they don’t have corresponding demand it means very little.
You can buy graded type coins at shows, coin shops or reputable online dealers.
It would be a waste of money to have them graded.

We need to see the entire coin and pictures of a microscope screen will not do it. We can see the coin well enough because of the lines and lack of clarity.

It’s not a 1937, it’s a damaged no date and they didn’t start making these until 1938. I would not use coin scanner apps, they give false info.

MS70 can tone copper, but there’s many ways to tone coppers. Also, I see a fingerprint on your coin, not that that makes it AT, but I can tell you that PCGS has put AT on coins cut from mint sets, proof sets and the old US cardboard sets. I think it depends and sometimes they’re wrong. There ought ...
