Yes, this is very normal. All Morgan Dollars are VAMs and most don't add any value at all. I always look for Top 100.

You should first check it against the images at doubledie.com and CONECA variety vista, because this is MD. Trying to find a match on reputable sites helps you learn what doubled dies look like.

For the record this isn't staple damage, not the toning spots, these are caused by tony holes in the plastic that react to the air. So the coins are not damaged as in irreversible damage. I also didn't recommend cleaning. I recommend restoring. I do this often with toning spots. However, the coins a...

It can be removed with MS70 but I would talk with someone who uses a coin dip. Acetone can as well, but again, you need to speak with someone in person.

Collecting coins is a hobby not an investment, I've preached that on my channel for years. People have it backwards, this is just a hobby with no guarantee of an upside. Die Pair #2 with strong reverse is the true No D. Your coin should be weak D but not as desirable in this condition.
