It's normal, the mint mark is normal the coin is normal.

Just die deterioration, look for WAMS and CAMS on the dates listed with these reverses, don't look for other dates because you're getting confused.

I recommend joining a coin club or going to a coin show or visiting a dealer in person. You can show the coins you want to send in person. Call first because some dealers don't have time to help in depth like this.

It's not a foreign coin struck on a nickel or anything like that, they do not look like this. Your coin has environmental damage and you're seeing the shapes from the toning and discoloring. Our forum is for helping people, so this is my advice to you, if you do not believe our advice then join PCGS...

It doesn't matter what mint mark it is, there's not difference in value or rarity because it's a P and if it was a D it's the same difference.

Proof coins for this year are supposed to be WAM's and that is what you're seeing. Also it is split plating and not a a doubled die, no extra value for that.

1964 nickels are common and they're not silver. I see rolls of these through out the year.

This is caused by extreme heat and after it left the mint, arc from a welding tip and cause similar results.
