I recently got a 1935 s buffalo nickel back from a grading service. It came back 1935s/s. I never heard of that before. Is it valuable? Anybody know?

Yes, for some reason Pcgs is the most respected. Ngc is the next tier,but I do not know why. I sent them a1921 morgan dollar(ms63). It came back with a "1921 peace dollar tag!!???" Anacs is next, but if I had to buy a coin, I would reverse anacs and ngc. I would not deal with any body else...

Hi again. Those that I sold were $75 for MS63 and $100 for MS64. I took the prices I saw on line and sliced them by better than half. I keep seeing people say that they are common, but did you notice that most coins that were for sale were in 2008. I do not see that many. Did you like your dealings ...

Both, but I wont be selling them for $250, like some people online ( way too much). I kept one black one for myself and one gray and one that is like a silvery color. Anacs grades for less money if you send lots of coins. All of my coin collecting friends got to buy them cheap from me, but I figure ...

Sure, I would. I sent a whole roll of 1959 nickels to ANACS. They came back MS63/64 black beauties. They said "Improper alloy mix." When I asked ANACS why they called them that, they said both they and PCGS agreed that is why they are Black or gray! Dan

I sent a roll of those to ANACS. All came back as Black Beauties, although some were black, some were like gunmetal gray or even lighter. All said "Improper Ally Mix" graded MS63 or MS64. When I asked why they said that, they stated that they and PCGS agreed that was why they are BLACK!!

I used ntc before. They overgrade at least by one or two and I tried to trade coins in their holders. tough!
