1919 Buffalo Nickel 2 Feathers FS-05-1919-401 Discovered

I just found the 1919 Buffalo Nickel "Two Feathers" and too bad it is in a low grade. For those who don't know this was caused when the die was polished to remove clash marks and the inner most feather, by the neck, is missing as a result.

Re: New to the Forum

This is an extremely corroded US Cent and one could find any shapes on the surface of this coin but no positive ID of the coin can be made. It is definitely not a restrike nor a pattern. It is in Basal state.

Can you post an image of your coin, extra metal coins do not look like what most people think. http://coinauctionshelp.com/extra_metal_mint_error.html

Nice. I found a couple 1935 and a 1937 and they both graded MS67.

I would say MS64 to MS65. It is a nice coin and in the images it looks gem.

Re: Other varieties of the speared bison Jefferson 2005

If you think you have a new variety then you should send the coin to a CONECA representative. Pahl1 who's a member of this forum could help you with that.
