Re: 1881-P MORGAN I'm not sure what your asking for, but it appears to be in the VF30 range. It's difficult to say much because of the gray toned picture.

Re: 1881-P MORGAN It might edge EF40, but that's as high as I would go without seeing it in hand. I would just settle at VF30, and wouldn't buy the coin for EF40 price.

Re: 1881-P MORGAN I'm not even sure the coin's genuine. I know that lighting can have a profound impact on the visual perception of color, but, from the 4 photographs I've seen, it certainly looks to be a contemporary counterfeit. Could you please weigh this coin?

Re: 1881-P MORGAN I'm sure this person is long gone, but the coin doesn't really look counterfeit, cleaned for sure though. VF30 is probably spot-on.
