:) I knew there were a few of these out there. This is the first one I found so far. It has heavy polish marks but they did not get all of it.

They look like lathe marks, when the die was cut, but wasn't properly polished.

This one is in CONECA, found Dec. 11, 2008. I have been looking for one myself every sence reading about it. The CONECA artical is: 1996-D Cent w/Lath marks.
Now that I know that there are still some out there, I though may be you would like to add it to your Cherry Pickers List. :geek:

I'm only vaguely aware of this variety. I'll have to check that CONECA page you mentioned.

It is page 94 or 96 in its list of articals. I ran across it about three months ago and been looking for one after that. There are 141 pages of articals so it is about half way down.
