I'm glad you tried, it appears ebay didn't have enough time or felt the info on the auctions wasn't within their knowledge to take action. Ebay can be slow, too bad someone got ripped off.

I hope they find my website. Thanks

Recently while seaching ebay i ran across an 1878-o Morgan dollar in a slabed holder. The coin was not idenified as a copy or replica on the holder or in the description.I notified the seller that the coin was not a US minted dollar, got no reply. So checked what else he was selling ,Oh an 1878-CC morgan, interesting with a 1879 reverse, again emailed seller ,thinking maybe wrong pictures
seller replied:"coin ok". Reported both coins to Ebay, and emailed Carson city winner.I did that because his feedback was under 10 and he paid book value for a fake. I couldnt get contact for the other winner.Anyways,I think Ebay should have stopped both auctions after they were informed
of the counterfeits. The seller was in Florida so it said.
Both coins were in slabed holders with dates mints and grades, both coins had 79 reverses and flat strikes .
