Charles Barber's famous pattern design with Liberty's bountiful hair bound behind the head. The obverse has UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the border with the date below the bust. The reverse features a wreath around a beaded circle that contains ONE DIME with E PLURIBUS UNUM framed above. Struck in silver with a reeded edge.
